Rules as Code

“Rules as Code” is a label adopted by people in governments working on the idea of encoding (or just marking up) legislation while it being drafted, so that logic resulting can be “read” (and checked) computer, to improve manner which produced and way available digitally. The currently attracting attention legal community, particularly question whether will lead automation replacing human interpretation law. This note briefly describes Rules Code, at least conceived legislative drafter. It argues this conception Code does not have over-reaching ambitions may sometimes appear harbour, particular trespass into removing key interpretative functions.
